MATERIALS

While every piece is designed and made by hand in Charlie's workshop, she collaborates with a small circle of trusted experts throughout the making process.

Pieces are cast by an experienced casting house in Birmingham to assure consistent quality and gemstones are carefully selected from established suppliers and cutters both in Hatton Garden and abroad.
On occasion engraving and stone setting is outsourced to local workshops in Hatton Garden to those who are mastered in their field.

Silver pieces

All pieces are made using 100% recycled sterling silver and come in two finishing options - antiqued and bright silver.

Gold pieces

I work with 100% recycled 9ct, 14ct and 18ct yellow, white and rose gold.
If you'd prefer a piece in a different colour/carat of gold than what's available, please get in touch to arrange this.

What 100% recycled means

The jewellery recycling process involves melting down old scrap pieces, filings, and broken items in a high-heat furnace.
This molten metal is chemically refined and purified to remove all impurities and original alloys, restoring it to 99.9% pure grain or bars.
Finally, this pure metal is mixed with new alloys - dependant on the desired finished metal - so it can be crafted into brand-new jewellery.

Nickel free

In accordance with European regulations, nickel is not an alloy used in any CS jewellery. Nickel is a common allergen so it is avoided in alloys to help reduce the risk of skin irritation and allergic reactions.
