Raised in Australia, now residing in London, Charlie began making jewellery in 2013.

She worked as a bench jeweller for 7 years in both Melbourne and London before going out on her own in 2021, when Charlie Shires jewellery as you know it was born.

Highly sentimental, she draws inspiration from death and love and the people nearest and dearest to her heart, she creates feminine, wearable pieces with an underlay of morbidity. 

Every piece of jewellery is handmade within the walls of Charlie's workshop in Hatton Garden, London.
