Production time

Shipping

There is currently a 3-4 week lead time on all pieces. Perfection can't be rushed, so please bare this in mind when ordering. 

If you need something at lightning speed, please contact me at hello@charlieshires.com and I can see what I can do.

One of a kind pieces are just that – one of a kind, so once they are gone, they are gone for good.

​

UK ORDERS

UK orders are sent via Royal Mail special delivery, next day service.

 

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS

International orders are sent fully trackable via Royal Mail standard delivery, if you would like to upgrade this service, please contact me directly.

 

Once your order has been processed and shipped, you will be contacted with tracking details.

Exchanges

Exchanges can be arranged if your piece is not what you were hoping for.

 

In the case of this, please contact me directly at hello@charlieshires.com or using the contact form on my website.

 

Please note: Exchanges will not be offered on bespoke or altered pieces.

Resizing

If you have received your ring and it's not the perfect fit, I will happily resize it for you. 

The first resize is free of charge for most rings* all I request of you is to cover the return postage.

* With the exception of pieces that will need laser soldering (with an additional charge of £20) - please feel free to check this with me before purchasing. 

​

If you aren't sure of your size before ordering, I am happy to send you out an adjustable ring sizer.

Returns

If your piece isn't what you were looking for and you wish to return, please contact me directly and a return can be arranged. 

​

Refunds will only be issued once the piece has been returned and inspected in its original pristine condition.

 

Please note: Refunds will not be issued on bespoke or altered pieces. 

Repairs

If your CS jewels need a bit of love, or have been damaged in some way, I offer a repairs service on all my pieces.

 

I want your piece to last a lifetime, which means it may need the occasional loving touch.

Please e-mail me with clear images and a description of what has happened at hello@charlieshires.com and I will get back to you on what happens next.

Sustainability in the workshop

Sustainability is obviously an important aspect to running a business and something that should be totally transparent. 

 

All metal used in CS jewellery is 100% recycled from metal that has already been in circulation. 

All stones used in CS jewellery are traceable to their origin and are mined ethically and without child labour. 

All suppliers used share the same environmental and ethical values as I do. 

If you'd like more information on this or information on a specific stone, please let me know and I can provide it for you. 

​

All lemmel (scrap metal and metal filings) is collected and taken to be melted down, refined and sent back into circulation. 

All plastic zip lock bags used in the workshop (there's a lot) are taken to a specialised recycling company where they are recycled properly.

All furniture, fittings and finishings in the workshop have been thrifted, up cycled or bought second hand - with the exception of my workbench chair. 

​

All packaging used in shipping is 100% recycled and recyclable. 

Micro-fiber pouches are used instead of boxes with the idea of longterm use and versatility in mind. 

​
